@kimheenim I’m happy^-^ I hope I can continue to laugh like this everyday from now on.. A relationship that would let us remember our past memories while smiling, not only as Universe Big Star and fan, but even when we become old grandfathers and grandmothers.. After meeting Gunhee, I have learned to relax, and be positive. Instead of hoping for 200% of happiness for just me, I hope you all and I could have 100% of happiness together. (cr)

Kangin and Sungmin - The Road of Text Messages and Phone Calls

On [080919] Chin-Chin Radio - The day when Shinhwa-Hyesung was a guest on Chin-Chin, he talked about the awkwardness about him and Eric (another Shinhwa’s member). RicSyung (Eric & Hyesung) often called as Oil & Water of Shinhwa. Kangin then told Hyesung there’s that kind of awkward relationship between SuJu members. Being forced by Hyesung and Taeyeon to tell them who were the members that Kangin talked about, he then said that it was him and Sungmin, but he insisted that it does not mean that they’re not close.

"To be honest, since Super Junior was debuting for the first time, Sungmin is the one that I am most close with, we are always side by side. And he was full of aegyo like,"Hyung~Hyung~", even with his text messages he will wrote something like, “Kangin Hyung~, fighting with your radio program~” and when we had a different schedules or when I had to go on a schedule on my own he will say, “Kangin Hyung~,you’ve been doing so hard, you’re doing great, even though that (I am) not there, be strong~FIGHTING~” (Suddenly when I got home), I saw him crying. I don’t know why and what is wrong with him. After that, I couldn’t see him, and when I got to meet him, (he confronted me), “Hyung~!! Why did you not replied any of my text messages to you~?!!” like that. (Then I went silent and said), “Sungminah, wait a minute.. Let me say something first.” then it became to awkward for us to talk even though I really want to have a warm talk with him but I don’t know how.” - Kangin

Hyesung then said that it’s because Kangin and Sungmin’s style are different on managing a relationship, it became awkward, and just like him and Eric, Hyesung said that it will gradually become better after years. And Kangin said,"Sungmin and I already know each other for 8 years." Hyesung, Kangin and Taeyeon laughed it out loud and he said in the end, “I have to call him later…. Sungmin-ah~, I’m sorry.”

This was the first time Kangin talked about their so called “awkward relationship”. Because of this, people can understand why Kangin always reading Sungmin’s text messages on his radio program. Almost everytime he got a text message from Sungmin, he will never forget to mention it on his Radio Broadcast just like this one.

[071224] Chin-Chin Radio - Kangin kept looking at his phone inside his bag during broadcast when songs are playing, and when it’s time to read fans messages,

“Can I say something? Today, eventhough I am not even answering call (since he was broadcasting) but phone calls keep coming from our Super Junior member, Sungminie. Just now, he kept sending me text messages about his schedules that canceled by manager hyung. Do you know what he just send me? “Do your broadcast well~” ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ~”. - Kangin

Even before Chin-Chin, like this one on Chunji, he will always mentioned Sungmin text message that day,

[060000] Chunji Radio - Before the broadcast was over, Kangin mentioned about Sungmin and he closed it with Super Junior - U.

"I’m thankful to my close one (note: because they’re not on the same age,he can’t say friend), our Sungminnie, our lovely member Sungminie. Sungmin-ah, I see your text message today~" - Kangin

Sungmin talked about his text messaging behavior on Chin-Chin and the reason why he sends those text messages to Kangin,

"Towards Kangin Hyung… I always think about him… was he doing well with his movie/drama shooting… or will he be able to sleep or not… That’s why I always remind him to keep doing his best by sending him the messages.” - Sungmin; [080710] Chin-Chin Radio

They were even quarreled about this text message and phone calls on live broadcast by accident.

[090122] Chin-Chin Radio -  When Sungmin was a one day DJ on Chin-Chin, when they were reading about a fan’s problem suddenly Sungmin looking at Kangin and said.

Sungmin: Ha…. Kangin Hyung, Kangin Hyung~!

Kangin: (looked daze) You were also didn’t answer my phone calls. You were calling me with an unknown number, so how am I supposed to know who was calling me! (You should) send a text message to me first.

Sungmin: What~?! After I ended the phone calls, didn’t I send you a text message?! Did I?! Or didn’t I (send it to you)?!

Kangin: Why do you have to be cranky about it?

Seungri: Ah … (and poor Seungri (Big Bang) had no choice to change the topic because Sungmin’s voice is getting high and high) *note: Seungri was a guest on Chin-Chin Radio that day to promote his solo album

The argue was not over yet because on Come to Play [090413] even though Kangin and Sungmin’s part was not broadcast, but during the “There’s a person here that I want an apology from” segment, Sungmin did pressed the button and said that he wants an apology from Kangin. We know this due to Kangin’s reaction that said,

“성민아, 미안하다. 전화를 받을게.”  which means something like, “Sungminah, I’m sorry. (I will) answer your calls” ©

And during Intimate Note [090417] there’s a scene about it (although I don’t want to include it since it’s a scripted show), but it’s just to cute.

Kangin: Call me.

Sungmin: I do call you~ You’re the one who’s not answering it.

Kangin: … Text me before you call me. You have to text me.

There’s a lot of audio recording that we want to include but it’s too much~ Enjoy~

(…)No matter when or how you met Super Junior. The most important thing right now is that you love us and that you cherish us with all your hearts. Of course, we can’t explain how thankful we are to all the people who came here for us. We want to thank you all face-to-face, looking into your eyes and shaking your hands. These people caring and loving Super Junior are our E.L.F.
All our fellow E.L.F, the names, the faces, the places might be all different, the amount of your love towards us is all the same. We know that already! Of course we don’t care if you met us now or 4 years ago, our heart that keeps thinking of you will never change. There is a special password that only you and we know, right? The color of our balloons, pearl sapphire blue. On stage, when our view is covered by a pearl sapphire blue sea we feel that there are people who could be by our sides forever. Those who makes us deeply moved, our E.L.F! We thank you very much and we love you. To the people that always supports us: We love you .
